Civic Engagement

Civic engagement involves working to make a difference in the civic life of our communities and developing the combination of knowledge, skills, values and motivation to make that difference. When we are engaged in making a difference we are promoting the quality of good life in our communities, through both political and non-political processes. As youths we can be engaged through volunteering, paid and unpaid forms of political activism, environmentalism and community services. Civic engagement is the starting point of making a difference as youths.
