THE GOVERNANCE WALK – Advocating for Youth Inclusion & Participation in Decision Making Structures

TAKE A STEP, Your Participation Makes All the Difference.

Emmanuel Zulu is a #youth from Lusaka, who attended an #AAAZ capacity building on #Enhancing #Youth & #Young #Women #Participation in #Governance.

As an active citizen and a way of Emmanuel sharing the knowledge he got from the #AAAZ training, he decided to do a “Governance Walk” with his friends (Lombe Bwalya, Daniel West Mwansa & Enersto Musanda Mwanda) to walk from #Chingola to #Lusaka.

The “#Governance #Walk” is aimed at #raising #awareness for #young #people, #young #women & #people #with #disabilities to #participate in #Governance.

The Governance Walk started on 22.11.2021 @ 9:30hrs, the teams’ first stop over was at Musenga Village where they sensitized young women at the market on the need to participate in governance. After 10 hours of walking they reached Kitwe at 19:10hrs.
