ENHANCED GOVERNANCE THROUGH COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN DECENTRALIZATION - PHASE II

Project Summary

This project aims to enhance decentralization by acknowledging government efforts to increase CDF allocation to all constituencies. Recognizing the significance of youth, women, and citizen participation, the project seeks to improve service delivery by supporting the transformation of subnational governance systems to be more responsive to citizen needs.

The project intends to reach the following targets

Advocacy

At least 18 advocacy issues addressed the 9 targeted disrtricts

Social Media Reach

Reach over 50,000
people through social media engagements & 18 live social media discussions for the 9 districts

Radio Reach

Reach over 450,000 people through community radio engagements accross the 9 districts

Advocacy

AAAZ is working with Local Authorites and WDCs in the catchment area to conduct advocacy on identified areas

Digital Training

AAAZ is partnering with Viamo to develop WDC training and upload them on the 667 ussd shortcode

Radio Engagements

We will lead a collaboration with comminuty radio stations to enhance citizens voice through social accountatiblity mechanisms

Central, Western and Eatern Provinces of Zambia
